Hello every! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. Today I’m linking up w Erika at alittlebitofeverythingblog.com for my Friday Favorites.
1. Jesus Chair.
1. Jesus Chair.
My SIL gave us this chair and we decided to put it in the corner of our room. It is prefect for morning quiet times. It's so special because it was my nephew's rocker when he was a baby. I love that family so much and I can just imagine the prayers spoken while rocking in this chair. Now there will be many more prayers here. A friend of mine calls her quiet time chair her Jesus chair and she says everyone should have a Jesus chair, one that you devote to time w the Lord and prayer.
2. Bible Study Method
This is a Bible study method my mentor taught me in 2000 (cannot believe it’s been almost 20 years). I really like how you can take any Scripture and apply it to your life this way. I’m starting by reading 1 chapter a day starting in Galatians and when I’m finished I’ll move onto Ephesians, Philippians then Colossians) Simply get a notebook, write on it like this:
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for: teaching (what does this verse teach me), rebuking(where do I fall short), correcting (how do I need to change) and training in righteousness(what steps do I need to take) Then I write a prayer on the back.
So perfect for summer.
Pair them w a short summer tank or a tied in the middle t-shirt.
5.Seeds Family Worship
I love listening to these song with my children. They are Scripture passages set to music. We have memorized many verses using these songs. Look them up on iTunes!
