πŸ’•5 Friday Favorites πŸ’•

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I am thankful for getting so much accomplished this week but I have run out of steam today. We are just relaxing and doing light school around here and then Netflix and chill! I have plenty of leftover meat from our tacos last night so I'll make quesadillas for the kids and taco salads for the adults for dinner. I love days like this when I have worked hard all week so my house is clean and laundry is almost complete, dinner is done and I can just enjoy the fruits of my labor. It's Frosty Friday again so we will likely be getting a delicious treat somewhere :)
Oh, I have a f un little announcement...I purchase my domain name! So now my blog is AdoringCreations.com! I feel so official ha! We are trying to take things to the next level w Adoring Creations and are doing a lot more on Instagram so I'd love to have you follow along over there. I love to connect with women through IG so if you do join me, DM me and I'll follow back!

Here are my Friday Favorites for the week. There are affiliate links in my post which means I get a small commission if you purchase. This helps out our family so much so if you find this blog helpful and you see something you need, we appreciate it immensely when your purchase from our links.

Strength, joy and wisdom from the Lord. πŸ™Just so thankful for how much I accomplished yesterday. I woke up exhausted and didn’t think I had much to offer. I asked the Lord to give me strength and wisdom to make it a productive day and let me tell you, He did. I am so grateful for days like today. When I feel so empty and then God fills me up and actually overflows. I accomplished more today than I usually do in a week and I know it was by the grace of God!

...the joy of the Lord is my strength.

Favorite 2.
My diamond glass soap dispenser for my kitchen.
Does anyone else get excited about things like a new soap dispenser? Sounds funny but it’s little touches like this that make a home unique to me.  I love the elegant design and that I can put any soap I like in here.

πŸ’•My girls room is almost complete! I have decluttered and clean this room three times in the past two weeks but this time I think it will be easier to keep clean. Now for the fun part... decorating! I’ll be posting more on that soon.

I get asked how I get motivated and what goes through my mind as I am cleaning and decluttering. There are two things. The first is I pray. I can feel so overwhelmed and have no idea where to begin so I will be honest with the Lord about my feelings (He knows them anyway), I say Lord, I am overwhelmed and I don't know where to start, would you please give me a divine idea and your strength and wisdom to tackle this. Sure enough, an idea will pop into my head and it's usually a simple task but that task will turn into another one and another one and next thing I know  I am halfway finished! There ARE times I get tired and overwhelmed while cleaning so during that time I will stop and pray and the process starts again. The second thing I will do is begin with the end in mind. I picture what I want my after to look like. That's why these "Tap to Clean" stories help ME so much. I know that once I take that first pic I will soon have a clean pic to post and I feel instant cleaning motivation.

🏑I'm SO immensely grateful for our renters. We had all of them over for dinner last night. It was such an enjoyable experience. They are the sweetest people and I’m so blessed to know them and especially blessed to have them rent our home(s). I made street tacos and beans plus a side of cilantro lime rice and street corn casserole. I’ll be posting the recipe soon! Everyone seemed to like it.

Favorite 5.
🌿Last favorite is this new to me Caldrea scent that I’m LOVING. It’s the pear agave and it is a lovely bright, fresh scent. It really makes cleaning and enjoyable experience. I look forward to clearing my counters and spraying this and wiping it. The fragrance lingers and leaves a beautiful aroma in the air that I catch a whiff of when I walk by my counters even hours later. I purchased these from Amazon but they didn't have the hand soap so I have that on the way from Grove.co
I love switching up my cleaning scents and keeping things fresh. It helps me transition from one season to another and it gets me excited to clean so I can try my new products. They are a little pricier than the grocery store products but these have "clean" and safe ingredients and I look forward to using them. Whatever it takes to make me love cleaning, I will do! If that means skipping fancy coffees so I can spend the money on nicer cleaning products then I am for it!

Thank you for joining me today! I appreciate all of you and your support. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my heart with you. I hope you are blessed this weekend.
Grace & Peace,
Adoring Family

  2. That's such a pretty soap dispenser! I've never heard of Caldrea cleaners before. I've been using Method or Seventh Generation. Even though I hate decluttering and cleaning, I love the finished product! Have a great weekend!
